Coral's Story
Coral has been waiting for over a year for a family to choose her. Her foster thought that taking her to a busy adoption event would traumatize her, so the rescue was relying on this site to get her seen. But, Coral is still waiting. We had to try something new.

On December 20, Coral attended her first adoption event with her buddy Casper. She was terrified. Too loud. Too busy. Too many people. Too new. We want to help her find a home. We had to try an event. This beautiful, sweet cat deserves a home and family to call her own.

In her foster home, she is loving and sweet. She doesn’t cower in the corner trying to hide. She interacts with the other cats in the home and co-exists with the small dog that lives there. She seeks out her foster for treats and attention.

She adores her best friend Casper. They cuddle and groom each other. Coral’s transition to a forever home will be easier if she has her friend to comfort her, so Coral and Casper must be adopted as a pair. We know the right family is out there, and we are willing to wait for that family to apply.

Coral came to the rescue with her 4 very young kittens in 2024. She was a wonderful mama to her own kittens and mothered every kitten that came to her foster home after her own kittens were adopted.

Coral needs an experienced cat person that will allow her to acclimate to her new home at her own pace. Coral’s perfect forever home will have no small children. If there are dogs in the home, they need to be calm dogs who will allow her to keep her distance if she chooses to do so. She will thrive in a quieter home where she can relax in the sunshine in a cat bed or cat tree with Casper and enjoy some catnip (which she absolutely loves).

Coral has watched all of her kittens and all of her friends get adopted one after another since May 2024. She wonders when it will be her turn to meet her new favorite person. This beautiful, sweet cat and her friend Casper deserve a forever home of their own.

Casper has his own Petfinder profile.
