Coral's Story

Coral is a young lady cat from the streets of Hanover Park. She was taken in with her sister Violet. Coral was upgraded from Auntie to surrogate mother to Violet’s 4 kittens and still has a love for other cats. Coral is sweet, friendly, and loves her own space. She enjoys string toys, her spiral toys and lounging on her heat pad.

She likes to be pet and can be picked up as needed for nail trims and vet visits. Coral is a meow machine when she needs attention, pets, and treats. She is a huge fan of Churu treats and will become fast friends with you if you have one. She is a stretchy girl and loves to stretch & scratch on her palm tree. When she's had enough pets, she may swat your hand away to let you know.

Coral will be great for a family as a solo cat or a multiple cat family. She may be best suited for a family with older kids that recognize kitty boundaries.

Almost Home's Adoption Requirements:
Be at least 21 years of age
Have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in the household
Have approval from owner of residence (written in lease)
Have a valid ID with current address
Be approved as a suitable adoptive home by Almost Home Foundation
Be ready to make a lifetime commitment
Live in the suburbs surrounding Chicago (Illinois Residents only)
Pass a veterinarian reference check for current and past pets.
Adoption payment cash, check or Zelle only

If you are interested in Coral, please email cats@almosthomefoundation.org or complete an online adoption application at www.almosthomefoundation.org.

*** Please note that Almost Home Foundation accepts only cash, checks, or Zelle for adoption fees; we do not accept debit or credit cards. ***
