Cora's Story

Cora is a sweet, yet timid girl who is still learning to trust. She was found by a good citizen and we do not know her background. She is nervous and quiet at first, but LOVES to play and will show off her speedy moves once she trusts you. She enjoys gentle chin scratches and pets from those who are patient and kind with her. Cora seems to really like other cats and would likely thrive in a home with another friendly, confident kitty (or even multiple). Cora is estimated to be 1-2 years old. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. She would do best in a quieter home without young children. Friends of Exeter Animals's Adoption Policy

The Exeter Animal Shelter does not do same day adoptions. In order to adopt there is a fee, but for a lifetime of happiness its worth it. Adoption fee is $75 for spayed/neutered pets. DO NOT APPLY ONLINE. Please visit the shelter and apply in person after meeting the pet you wish to adopt. If you have any questions about the animals available at the shelter, please stop in to speak with one of the Animal Control Officers, or call the shelter at 401-294-2754.
