Cora (16 yrs old!!)'s Story

OK grab a tissue- My name is Cora and yes, I am 16 yrs old. I came from a home- an incredible home- where I was loved immensely. My owner passed away, and the family brought me to the town shelter. I hid under a blanket and shook- I truly felt my world was over. Now I am at GPS, and after a day or so of intense love and attention, I am OK! The volunteers said they had never seen a cat so distressed and so inconsolable upon arrival in years. That was a week ago- you should see me now!!! MY PURR IS SO LOUD that you can hear it from the other room! I spend my days rolling on my back- being brushed and snuggling up with the amazing people here. I pray for a soft place to land- I am so low maintance- so easy going and so grateful. I get along with other cats and I cannot wait for my dream to come true.
