Copycat

Hey there, it's Copycat here. I am a beautiful lady around 2 years old. I came to this shelter a few months ago and am not adjusting well. I seemingly want attention but get scared after more than a couple head pets. I feel defensive and I spend most of my time at the top of my cage away from people and all the noise. I lived in a house of my own once and all I want is to go to my new home. Staff believes I will really start to open up and flourish once I am in my new forever home, even if I take a couple steps back before finally adjusting to my new life. I deserve a second chance!! I would do best in an adult only household. I love other cats and I would love to have a friend in my new home. I have not been tested with dogs, but I likely won't be a big fan of them due to my timid nature. I know I'm a bit more work than some other cats here at the shelter but I deserve to be spoiled and loved just as much!
