Copper Don 's Story

Meet Emma at PetMAC DC Saturday Jan 3 from 12-2
4914 Wisconsin Ave NW DC

Copper Don is a young (around a year as aged by vet bit we think she is a bit older ) brown Tabby who has known more hardship than we can imagine. She was found undernourished with an embedded collar in terrible pain. Despite all she has been through she is a 100% lap cat purr machine. She loves people and has also lived successfully with both dogs and cats. She loves to be pet, sit with and close to her person and just has the loudest purr. Lets make a difference in this formerly neglected kitties life and get her a home 2026

Here is what her foster has to say
Her personality has really come out since being here. She's a huge mush and purrs at any opportunity: while playing, while eating, most of the time she's purring just sitting next to me. She's a great couch companion and loves curling up next to me for pets while I watch TV. The only thing she loves more is playing fetch with her spring toy, and will meow until I throw it.

She loves attention and will seek out pets whenever she gets the chance!! Its hard to get pictures because the second I have my attention on her she runs up for scratches and pets.

INTERESTED IN ADOPTING?

Please visit pbj.org and click the ADOPT link at the top of the page to complete a no-obligation adoption application and to view our adoption fees.

It's best to apply and be pre-approved to adopt before attending an adoption event.

We are always in need of foster homes ... to learn more, please visit pbj.org and click the FOSTER button at the top of our home page.

The adoption fee includes age-appropriate vaccinations, FIV/FeLV combo testing, microchipping, and spay/neuter.
