DOB 03/29/2025<br/><br/>Copper is a lovable polydactyl boy who deserves a second chance at a forever home. <br/><br/>Copper was one of seven kittens born to Goldie, who was a rescue herself and is the sweetest and most loving mama cat. His foster had the amazing experience of watching him be born and grow into a playful and silly kitten. <br/><br/>Copper was adopted in June of 2025, but was recently surrendered to his veterinarian because his family believed he "wasn't affectionate enough" for their liking. This was heartbreaking to hear as we believe all cats deserve love, even if they are a little shy. <br/><br/>Since Copper has relocated to a new environment, he has come out of his shell. While we may never know exactly what was happening in his former home, we do know that Copper seems much more comfortable now, and we're choosing to focus on the happy cat we're seeing today.<br/><br/>His former foster was able to visit him and said it was so wonderful to see him approach her within a few seconds of seeing her. Copper wanted lots of head scratches and really loved all the toys she brought him. Copper delighted her with fresh biscuits and even showed his belly. He showed a curious side that may have been hiding behind the stress of his previous situation. <br/><br/>Copper is looking for a furever home that will make him feel safe, loved and appreciated for the wonderful cat he is. <br/><br/>We can't change what happened before. We may never fully understand it. But we can make sure that Copper's next chapter is a good one. <br/><br/>Copper is ready for his fresh start. <br/><br/>All Catmosphere Laguna kitties are fully vetted.
