Hi there… I’m Cooper. <br/>You might notice me right away… it’s hard not to. I’m a very handsome orange tabby with deep, beautiful orange swirls all throughout my coat and the most gorgeous amber eyes. I like to think I look pretty impressive… and honestly, I kind of do.<br/><br/>Now I’m going to be honest with you… I can be a little shy at first. When you first meet me, I might take a moment to figure you out. But if you approach slowly and give me a little patience, you’ll discover my secret… I have a major sweet spot.<br/><br/>Once I trust you, I’ll roll right over in excitement so you can rub my belly. Yes… belly rubs! They’re one of my favorite things. I’ll rub up against you for affection and soak up all the love you’re willing to give.<br/><br/>Believe it or not, I wasn’t always such a sweet boy. I used to be a bit spicy and had a pretty good hiss! But I’ve come a long way and have really blossomed into a loving, affectionate kitty who enjoys attention.<br/><br/>I also LOVE to play. Toys? Yes please. Other cats to run around with? Even better! You’ll often see me zooming around having the time of my life. When I’m done playing, my favorite thing is curling up in a soft, cozy bed or snuggling with my feline friends.<br/><br/>Oh… and I should mention something very important… treat time. I absolutely love lickable treats and get very excited when those come out. It’s definitely one of the quickest ways to win my heart.<br/><br/>Because I love other cats so much, I would do best in a home with another kitty companion. Life is just better when you have a buddy to play and cuddle with.<br/><br/>If you’d like to meet me, you can come visit any day between 1–5 PM. I’ll be the adorable orange swirl waiting patiently for my forever home.<br/><br/>My new perfect family NEEDS to understand that it WILL take me a while to adjust at first and I WILL hide as I settle in. Give me time, patience, and use food as a tool to get me out of my shell — I really am a wonderful cat.<br/><br/>I am fully vetted: neutered, microchipped, FIV & FeLV negative, treated for fleas/ticks/and intestinal parasites, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations: distemper, rabies, and FeLV.
