** COURTESY POST ** Meet Cooper! This handsome boy is not in the care of Heavenly Paws. If you would like to give him a loving home, please contact Lyndsey by text at (717) 798-4014 or email at lyndseyaxe06@gmail.com. We took cooper in with his sister as a temporary rescue until we found a forever home for them. Unfortunately Cooper is not adjusting well in a home with 3 other cats and is developing some food insecurity issues as a result. As a result we are trying our very hardest to get him into his forever home before he develops irreversible issues. He is a very healthy grey and black tabby who LOVES to play! Hes very friendly to other animals but does get a little protective over his food when eating at the same time as others. He is a huge cuddle bug and loves to be carried around. He loves to sleep cuddle up on the pillow next to you at night, and is always up for a churu! Hes litter box trained and does extremely well with my furniture. He does well with dogs and small children! Cooper is 5 months old, and not yet neutered or vaccinated, so the adopter would be responsible for those things. Heavenly Paws Animal Shelter Inc.'s Adoption Policy

Welcome to the Heavenly Paws Animal Shelter's adoption process. The first step towards adopting one of our special babies is to fill out our simple one page application. We will be in touch within 24 hours after receiving your application. Each one of our cats are tested for leukemia and aids, receive their initial vaccines (distemper), vet check-up as needed, treatment for fleas, worms, parasites, ear mites, and their nails trimmed. If the cat/kitten is old enough they may have more done for them, such as, rabies vaccine and second distemper vaccine. If they are old enough prior to adoption they will be spayed or neutered. If not, you will be given a spay/neuter certificate for one of our local vets we work with. Our business office is located in Seven Valleys (York County, PA). Since we are a non-profit, any donations and adoption fees are a tax-write off for you. At in-tack all our cats spend time in one of our foster homes until they are ready for adoption.

Angeline Behrendt, a trained Veterinary Technician, has provided care for sick, injured, and homeless animals for many years in her home.
