The shelter is loud and full of smells and other cats, and it’s been really hard for me. I don’t like sharing space with other cats, and being surrounded by them all the time makes me feel overwhelmed and on edge. I’m constantly overstimulated here, and sometimes when I’m scared or stressed, I react in ways I wish I didn’t — even scratching the people I care about most. I’m not a bad cat.
