Hi! I’m Coop — part kitten, part velociraptor. I zoom around the house at top speed and love play-wrestling with my brother. I’ve got lots of energy and zero hesitation when it comes to pouncing, chasing, and attacking anything that dares to move. My absolute favorite solo toy is a little yellow spring. Seriously — I can play with it for hours like it’s my full-time job. I’m also obsessed with string toys, toy mice, and basically all things made for playtime. Exploring the house with my siblings is one of my favorite adventures, especially when it turns into a full-on race or a game of hide-and-seek. When I finally slow down, I turn into a cuddly guy. I love curling up with my siblings for some cozy snuggle time. I’m a social, affectionate kitty who enjoys being close to my people and feline friends — whether we’re playing hard or relaxing together. Adoption Process Requirements: Be at least 21 years of age Have the knowledge and consent of all adults living in the household Have approval from owner of residence (written in lease) Have a valid ID with current address Be approved as a suitable adoptive home by Almost Home Foundation Be ready to make a lifetime commitment Live in the suburbs surrounding Schaumburg (Illinois Residents only) Adoption payment cash and check only Process: Fill out an application. Meet with the animal and talk with an Adoption Counselor/foster. Understand that several applicants may be interested in the animal and it can only go into one home. Almost Home Foundation makes the decision with the best interest of the animal in mind. A decision to place the animal in someone else’s home in no way implies that your home would not be a wonderful home for one of our animals. We are merely trying to make the best decision for the particular animal.
