Meet Cookie & Midnight 🍪🌙 Cookie and Midnight are beautiful 6-year-old bonded tabby sisters looking for a loving home together after a big life change. Their previous owner sadly had to move into a nursing home, and these sweet girls are now hoping for a calm, gentle home where they can stay side by side—just the way they’ve always known. Both Cookie and Midnight are declawed and therefore need to be indoor-only cats in a quiet, safe environment. They are incredibly friendly, playful, and curious, and they’ll happily come right up to greet you when you enter the room. They love to cuddle, enjoy affection, and have the sweetest personalities. These girls do well with other small animals and truly shine as a bonded pair, keeping each other company and comfort. They’re currently a little on the heavier side, but they’re doing great working with our vet team and foster on a healthy weight-loss plan. Cookie and Midnight would thrive in a gentle, quiet home where they can relax, play, and soak up love together. Give Hope Cat Rescue – Adoption Policies and Process At Give Hope Cat Rescue, our priority is placing each cat or kitten into a responsible, loving, and permanent home. To ensure the best possible match between our animals and adopters, we have developed a thorough adoption process. Please review the following policies before applying: Adoption Application Review • Our application review process generally takes 1–2 business days. We do not offer same-day adoptions, as each application is carefully reviewed by our team. • Approved applicants will be contacted to schedule a required home visit to evaluate the environment and ensure the home is a safe and suitable setting for the pet. Adoption Requirements 1.) Age Requirement: You must be at least 21 years old to adopt. 2.) Senior Adopter Policy: Applicants 60 years or older wishing to adopt a kitten under 6 months must have a co-applicant under 60 years of age. The co-applicant must complete a separate form and agree to take over ownership if the adopter can no longer care for the kitten. • This policy does not apply when adopting adult or senior cats. 3.) Identification: A valid photo ID (driver’s license, passport, or state-issued ID) is required. If your current address is not listed, you must also provide a recent utility bill or lease agreement for verification. 4.) Renters: If you rent your home, please provide your landlord’s name and contact information, or submit a copy of your lease agreement confirming pets are allowed. Final Steps • After your home is approved, we will schedule an appointment for you to meet and pick up your cat at one of our approved adoption locations—typically the foster caregiver’s home. • Upon adoption, you will receive a Welcome Packet that includes: - A copy of the adoption contract - Your cat’s complete medical records and vaccine history - Helpful tips on cat care and transitioning your new pet into your home - New adopter coupons or resources (when available) We are grateful to all applicants who choose to adopt and give a second chance to a rescued cat.
