Meet Cookie.<br/>She was found alone, limping with her tiny foot caught in a mousetrap — injured, scared, and so heartbreakingly brave. ?<br/><br/>Thanks to a kind stranger and the amazing team at Gold Country Animal Hospital, Cookie got the care she desperately needed. Dr. Griffiths and his staff worked wonders, saving part of her foot — and while she only has one toe left, she’s already mastered the art of wrestling her puff toys, purring, and stealing hearts. ?<br/><br/>Cookie is full of love, adventure, and soft little purrs. She loves being held and snuggled, and now that she’s healing, she’s excited to start exploring her world.<br/><br/>She’s still a bit timid with new faces, but once she knows you, she blossoms into the sweetest, most affectionate companion. ?<br/><br/>Cookie is now ready to find her forever family! A calm home with a gentle, non-dominant kitty close to her age would be the perfect match for this special girl.<br/><br/>My foster mom says I am spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. They say that’s good!<br/><br/>I currently live with my foster family in Sacramento.<br/><br/>Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats (like me) with qualified adopters who will cherish me and create an ideal forever home.<br/><br/>Purebreds Plus cat Rescue (purebredsplus.org), serving Northern California, the San Francisco Bay Area, Oregon, and Northern Nevada, is dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming of purebred cats, kittens and other exceptional felines. We are a 501 (c)3 non-profit rescue group. Most of our beautiful felines come from Northern California Animal Shelters. One of our goals is to keep purebred cats from ever ending up in a shelter. We are happy to help you if you need to rehome your purebred cat. Often, we can offer advice if your cat is having behavioral problems, and you may end up keeping the cat. We do NOT ship cats. We will place cats out of area but you must arrange to come and meet your new friend in person.
