Hi, my name is Cookie! <br/><br/>I am 10 years old, and this is my first ever time being in an animal rescue! My owner passed away, and his family tried to take me home, but they had dogs and I was so afraid of the dogs! Pet Angel’s director saw me as a “Free” cat on her local pets facebook group and reached out to see if I could join Pet Angel, and now I’m here! When I first arrived, I was so scared, but I quickly warmed up to the humans at Pet Angel and am ready to find my forever family! My former owner didn’t have very many cat things for me, so I’m getting very comfortable with a life full of fluffy cat beds and catnip kick sticks, and can’t wait to find a family that will continue to spoil me! Here’s some things about me you should know! <br/><br/>?I am a gentle, laid-back cat who is a bit shy. Once I get to know you, I love to roll over for belly rubs and purr so loud! I would do best in a low-key home. I may also spend some of my time hiding, so I hope you’re okay with that and able to give me some hiding spots! <br/><br/>?Once I get to know you, I just LOVE you and trust you with my whole heart! <br/><br/>?I drool when I’m happy! When you give me lots of pets, or when I’m playing with a yeowww toy, I drool!! <br/><br/>?? I only like flat cat beds, and don’t enjoy ones with sides. The rescue can give you links to my favorite beds! <br/><br/>?I don’t play very much, I prefer eating or laying on a flat cat bed, but I LOOOOVE Yeowww toys! I roll on them and lick them all over! PLEASE buy me some! <br/><br/>?I enjoy spending my winter in front of the heat vent (a note from my former owner’s family.)<br/><br/>? ?I do not like other animals, including both dogs and other cats. <br/><br/>?I am a little wide, and eating is my favorite activity. Because of this, a gravity feeder is not recommended for me. It’s best you keep control of my portions ;) <br/><br/>?I would do great with older kids, but am not fit for a home with young children or infants, as I am more shy and don’t do well with a lot of activity. <br/><br/>?I am looking for a strictly indoor only home, within the state of Michigan. <br/><br/>??I am fixed, microchipped, up to date on all my shots, and tested negative for FIV/FELV. <br/><br/>?If you’re ready for a quiet girl to build a relationship with, I promise I will love you with my whole heart!
