Cookie Coquito's Story
Meet Coquito – your new favorite cuddle companion

Coquito’s Story

Coquito was rescued from a big colony in south Jamaica after he showed up with bite and scratch wounds and a limping front leg. At first he seemed feral, but after being trapped he immediately softened up and started acting super sweet and friendly it was clear he wanted to be an indoor cat. Unfortunately, he had multiple bite wounds and fractured toes on his front left foot so it took about a month of recovery in a crate to heal.

Once Coquito healed, he moved into a foster home and his loving personality continued to shine through. Only 2 days at his foster home, Coquito was cuddling up on the couch next to his foster mom (all it took was one of his favorite churro treats!) This sweet boy lives for pets and cuddles — you could pet him all day, and he’d happily accept the assignment. He loves to play with strings, perch on a high cat tree, and is always patient when being fed.

Coquito isn’t just looking for a home — he’s looking for his person. Someone who will cherish his gentle heart, indulge his playful side, and return all the love he so freely gives.
