His tail and ‘zorro mask” are black as is his plume tail. Cookie was previously in a home with two Dogs but the family was allergic and could not keep him. A kind person, Cecelia, took him in until his permanent home is found. Cookie is good with Dogs, but not used to other Cats. He has a lot of characteristics of a Dog (e.g., he’ll wait for you at the door when you get home, runs to the door to meet you, alpha and energetic personality.) Cookie is energetic, curious and affectionate on his own terms (he often asks for affection by lying on his back and putting his paws up - he doesn’t like tummy or leg rubs; he prefers chin rubs and being petted on the head and back.) If overstimulated, he might nip you; he’s very food motivated and absolutely loves Greenies and Churu treats! Cookie also really likes to watch TV, especially when we put on bird and squirrel videos for cats on YouTube! Cookie loves to explore new places and things; he absolutely loves feather toys, especially those with feathers at the end of a stick or rope where you can dangle it and he tries to catch the feather part - but he might accidentally eat the feathers so you have to look out for that! Cookie is currently taking Fluoxetine to help with that and it has helped reduce this; however, Cookie in general loves to bite on things, such as boxes or plastic bags so getting him chewable toys might be good for him; he also appears to have a sensitive tummy so I am feeding him a digestive care diet such as Royal Canin Digestive Care.
