COOKIE

COOKIE is a sweetheart kitty who is very loving & chatty and loves to follow her human around to supervise all activities. We don't know why she was outside because she is soo nice and we can't imagine how anyone could have dumped her. She is a recent mommy cat and since she's now done weaning her kittens & her outside time was not kind to her, she is not really interested in making cat friends. She is estimated to be about 2 years old, easy to pick up and hold. Did we mention what a complete sweetheart she is? COOKIE is up to date on all vaccines, already spayed, microchipped, and litter box trained. They can live safely and happily with non-aggressive spayed & neutered cats that have tested negative. FIV is only spread through deep bites in very aggressive fights where there is blood drawn, or through in-tact cats mating. FIV does not affect a cat's personality at all. Include your availability and we'll get back to you!<br/><br/>APPLICATIONS:<br/>- To submit an application directly, go to: animals-in-distress.org/adoptions<br/>- If the animal you are interested in is part of a bonded pair, please only submit an application if you are considering adopting both.<br/><br/>ADOPTION PROCESS & FEES<br/>- You must be 21 years or older to adopt.<br/>- There is an application & approval process.<br/>- Once approved, the adoption fee is $150 per pet.<br/><br/>ADOPTION FEE INCLUDES:<br/>- Testing for FeLV & FIV<br/>- Vaccinations (FVRCP/Distemper & Rabies)<br/>- Spay or neuter of the cat<br/>- Microchipping<br/><br/>We reserve the right to deny any application and our adoptions are NOT on a first come first serve basis. Our purpose is to find the best match for the animals in our care.
