Connan's Story

Hi there! I'm Connan, the cat who mistook a delivery van for a mobile nap pod. Imagine my surprise when I ended up at this shelter instead of a new exotic location! The shelter was a scary place but they had nice humans working there. I had to see their shelter vet to get this thing they called a health check up before they could put me with other cats and before they could try to find me a family of my own. My check up didn’t turn out so well cause I heard them saying I was positive for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) and FELV (feline Leukemia virus). They didn’t know I was listening but I heard them say it was gonna be challenging to find a home for me.
They said I would probably have to be euthanized unless they could find a rescue to help me. They realized really fast that I was a very special boy. They said I was a very friendly, funny,
goofball, loving cat with a great personality. Everyone in the shelter fell in love with me. But they were not having any luck finding help for me, my time was running out. This sweet lady named Lou that works there would not give up on me. She worked so hard trying to get help to get me out of there. Finally one day Lou was talking to her friend that runs a very small rescue and told her about my situation and without hesitation the lady said she would take me. So that’s how I ended up with my foster mom… So more about my personality. Despite my adventurous spirit, I'm also quite the scholar, always curious and smart enough to figure out how to open doors in record time. I'm friendly and independent, so don't let my FELV and FIV status fool you; I’m a very fat healthy boy that is full of life and love. Looking for a charming companion? I'm your purr-fect match!

P.S. I am good with cats and small dogs but I need to be properly introduced. And remember my FiV and FELV status.
