Comet's Story

Crater is shy and calm. He takes a little time to trust, but once he does, he loves belly rubs! He enjoys hiding in cozy dark spots, has the cutest butt wiggle when chasing toys, and hides behind Comet when he's scared. He would do great with his brother Comet.

Sonya's Hope for Felines's Adoption Policy

The potential adopter reaches out to me with interest in a particular cat or kitten. They complete an application. Their vet is called to make sure they are responsible pet owners. Personal reference is also called. Application is reviewed to make sure that the person is responsible, financially, emotionally, and physically. The landlord is contacted if applicable. A meet and greet is scheduled if all checks out. A home visit with the potential adopter takes place to verify that the home is safe (virtual option may be available). Application fee is paid, contract is signed, and cat/kitten is delivered to his/her new home.
