Cole's Story
Cole was an abandoned tomcat who got wrapped up in a collar. He wandered so long with the material wrapped under his leg that it cut into the joint. When the person who found him and had been feeding him finally caught him and got him vet care, his needs were too great so he ended up at our shelter where he could get daily washes and medication. After more than a month his wound has finally healed enough that he doesn't require constant attention.

He is an extremely affectionate cat. He loves rubbing against the legs of volunteers and has been a perfect patient. He had no protests about having a front leg lifted and the sore wound cleaned, he simply purred. He deserves a loving home to live out his remaining years in warmth and comfort. After what he's been through we recommend he be an indoor cat. He's estimated to be about 7 years old and may be picky about other large males in his space, but he's been very tolerant of kittens and smaller cats.

All of our cats are FIV/FeLV tested, spayed/neutered, up to date on shots and microchipped.
