Cole's Story

Cole is a thoughtful, sensitive kitten who likes to be part of the action without necessarily being the center of attention. At first glance, he may seem a little reserved, but once he trusts you, you'll discover a sweet companion who genuinely enjoys being near his people.

While Cole isn't much of a lap cat, he loves sitting beside you and keeping you company. He's especially fond of ear rubs and will happily lean into them whenever they're offered. He also comes running when he hears familiar voices or someone calling for the cats, proving that he's always paying attention.

Cole is curious, alert, and fascinated by the world around him. New sounds, movements, and discoveries capture his interest, and he approaches life with the cautious curiosity of a kitten still learning that the world is a safe place. He enjoys interactive play and can become quite determined once he "captures" a toy. If he manages to steal it from you, don't be surprised if he carries it off to a private location to enjoy his victory in peace.

Cole has made tremendous progress in foster care. He is learning household manners, growing more comfortable with people and other cats, and gaining confidence every day. He can now be picked up for short periods, though he'd generally prefer to keep all four paws on the ground.

Cole does well with children, is okay with dogs and other cats, and would thrive in a patient home that appreciates a kitten who wants companionship without being constantly carried around. Cole is 5 months old, vaccinated and neutered. He is indoor only and has tested negative for FeLV/FIV. The adoption fee is $125. If you're looking for a loyal little sidekick who prefers sitting beside you to sitting on you, Cole may be your perfect match.

You can download our Adoption Application at bit.ly/4vrrWiq; OR if you might even consider becoming a temporary foster caregiver, we would be excited (and pay all the bills!). You can email your completed application and any questions to info@oswegohumane.org!
