Cole's Story

Cole is a sleek black kitten who looks like a tiny panther. He came into foster care with his brother Clark and sister Miss Houndi after being trapped outside by a kind-hearted woman who wanted them safe. While life started off a little scary for him, Cole has shown just how sweet and gentle he truly is.

Cole can be timid at first and needs a bit of time to feel safe. Loud noises and sudden movements can startle him, but with patience and kindness, he warms up within a few days and begins to show his true personality. Once you pick him up, he actually enjoys being held and will relax into your arms when he knows he’s safe.

He loves to play—especially with his siblings. You’ll often find them chasing and wrestling together. His favorite toys include the ball tower, spring toys, the cat tree, and he’s a big fan of the laser pointer too. Playtime helps him build confidence and brings out his fun, kitten energy.

Cole would love to be adopted with one of his siblings, but he would also be happy joining a home with another friendly cat. He could do well as an only cat too, as long as he gets plenty of love and enrichment. With proper introductions and time to adjust, Cole should do fine with small, gentle dogs and respectful children.

Cole is neutered, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and up-to-date on vaccinations. This sweet boy is absolutely worth the patience he needs to feel secure. Once he trusts you, you’ll have a loyal, loving companion. Maybe Cole could even be someone’s Valentine!

If you're interested in adopting, the first step is to fill out the application here:
http://bit.ly/3VDJfhm
