Colby Jack's Story

Colby Jack is one of five orange-and-white kittens born in late July 2025, affectionately known as the “Cheez-It kittens.” He is the smallest of his siblings but makes up for his small size with the biggest purr! He is a certified sweetheart who will start purring the moment you touch him - no warm-up required.

Colby Jack even tolerates being held like a baby (for a few glorious minutes). His marbled orange-and-white coat matches his name perfectly, and his favorite toy is . . . a box. Seriously, he loves collecting toys and hauling them inside the box to play. Colby Jack may be okay as a single cat if he gets lots of attention and enrichment, but he’d still thrive with a feline buddy if possible.

Colby Jack and his Cheez-It siblings are playful, affectionate kittens with plenty of energy and love to give. They enjoy wrestling, chasing toys, and ending their play sessions in cozy cuddle puddles. Because they are very social and active, they would do best adopted in pairs or into a home with another cat who can keep up with typical kitten antics. Listings for Colby’s siblings—Brie, Manchego (“Manny”), Cheddar, and Nacho—can be found on Feline Friends of Lake Pepin’s Petfinder page. They will be fixed and fully vetted in February.

For more information or to arrange a meet-and-greet, please text Rebecca at (612) 366-2724.
