Cocoa Chanel's Story
Cocoa Chanel is an elegant, stunning 10-month-old long-haired ticked tabby with a soft, flowing coat and a graceful presence that perfectly matches her name. Beneath her beauty is an incredibly sweet and affectionate girl who truly loves attention and enjoys being part of whatever her people are doing.

A ticked tabby has a unique coat pattern where each individual hair is banded with alternating light and dark colors (called agouti hairs), giving the fur a soft, sandy or slightly “wild” appearance rather than traditional stripes or swirls. Ticked tabbies usually keep the classic “M” marking on their foreheads, and while they don’t have bold body stripes, they may show faint barring on their legs and tail — all of which adds to Cocoa Chanel’s striking, elegant look.

Cocoa Chanel has a playful side too! She loves interactive playtime and happily switches from chasing toys to soaking up pets and admiration. She’s both fun and loving — the perfect balance of playful kitten energy and affectionate companion.

Cocoa is looking for a forever home with another cat or kitten, as she’s very used to feline companionship. She previously lived in a colony surrounded by other cats and thrives when she has a furry friend nearby.

Sadly, Cocoa Chanel lost her home when development forced her owner to move, and he was unable to take her or the other cats she grew up with. Despite this big change, she has remained gentle, trusting, and full of love.

Now, Cocoa Chanel is ready for a fresh start — a home where her beauty, sweetness, and playful spirit will be cherished forever. If you’re looking for a gorgeous, affectionate young cat who will bring elegance and warmth into your home, Cocoa Chanel is waiting to meet you. 🐾💕

All cats and kittens adopted through Friends of Felines are spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on FVRCP vaccinations and rabies shots (if old enough).

See our adoption process below:

1) Fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofelines.org/adopt
2) Meet with the cat in their foster home
3) If you and the cat are a match then we will set a take home date 1-7 days after the meeting depending on schedules.
