Coco's Story

Meet Coco! Coco is a 4-year-old boy who has been having a tough time with shelter life. He's made some nice improvements - he now accepts gentle cheek and chin pets using a considerate approach and enjoys playing with his bumble bee wand. We don't have much background on Coco, and it's hard to know exactly how he'll settle into a home. He previously lived with another cat and may do well with a calm, cat-friendly companion given a proper introduction. Coco needs someone patient who's willing to take a chance on a sensitive kitty, and we will be available to offer support to help his transition. Matchmaking is what we love to do. We do our very best to find the best fit for the pets awaiting adoption at the Rhode Island SPCA. The first step to adopting a dog from the Rhode Island SPCA is filling out an adoption application. If your application is selected, you will be contacted and asked if you would like to schedule a meet & greet. Because of the volume of applications we receive, sometimes we can only respond to the selected applicant.
