Coco & Cora's Story

Coco (dilute tortoiseshell) and her daughter Cora (black) are a bonded pair that are looking for a forever home together.

When they first came to their foster home, they had little to no experience with humans and hid for weeks. Since then, they have made amazing progress! They still act like they are the stars of a mission impossible movie, always ready to run to safety when there are unexpected noises or movements. If you imagine or play the theme song while they do it, it's quite entertaining!

Coco loves to be pet and getting scritches on her head and neck. Cora is more cautious when approached but will follow her mother's lead and ask for pets too.

Cora is young and energetic and loves playing with toys and doing zoomies with her foster brother. She is more skittish than her mother but also curious and wants to be where her foster mom is (at a safe distance).

They LOVE treats, especially the squeeze up tubes. That will be the key to getting them to be your best friends!

This pair is so deserving of a loving home with patient humans that will continue to show them that they are safe and loved.

They would do best in a home without young children, and do well with other cats. They have not had experience with dogs or children so it is unclear how they would do in a home with either.

Please consider adopting this gorgeous duo together into your home. They are just the sweetest and would make a perfect addition to a loving home. If you can’t adopt them, please share their story and help them find their forever home.

If you are interested in adopting Coco and Cora, please contact us at frederictoncarma@gmail.com.

As of October 2024 the adoption donations will be:

- Adult cat (over 12 months): $125
- Kitten (12 months and under): $200

So, you've found your potential new best friend... send us an email and we'll get the ball rolling for you! All cats and kittens available for adoption by CARMA Fredericton are treated to ensure they do not have fleas, ear mites, roundworm, tapeworms, or heartworm. They are spayed/neutered and vaccinated at Ca-R-Ma's expense. We do not sell cats or kittens; instead we request that adopters donate to our spay/neuter fund. This amount can change from time to time - please check with our volunteers for the current minimum donation. CARMA does not have a shelter but instead relies on a network of loving foster homes to help us socialize and care for adoptable cats.
