Coco's Story
Barn Cat Available for Adoption
Looking for a solution to your rodent problem? Our barn cats are ready to go to work! These independent, outdoor-savvy cats thrive in environments like barns, stables, garages, sheds, or warehouses, where they can patrol for pests and enjoy the freedom of outdoor life with the safety and comfort of regular meals and shelter.

While they may not be lap cats, many of our barn cats enjoy a warm place to sleep and may eventually accept pets or companionship on their terms. In return for providing them with food, water, and shelter, they’ll help keep your property rodent-free.

All of our barn cats are:
Spayed or neutered
Vaccinated (FVRCP & Rabies)
Combo tested (FeLV/FIV)
Dewormed and on flea/tick prevention

We adopt barn cats in pairs (minimum of two) at a discounted fee, so they have feline companionship and a better chance of success in their new environment.

Acclimation is key! To help your new barn cats adjust, they’ll need to be confined in a secure area (like a tack room, stall, large crate, or enclosed garage) for 2–3 weeks. This allows them time to recognize their new home base before being allowed to roam freely.

Give a hardworking cat a second chance and gain a valuable partner in return.
Email us at adoptions@angelsofassisi.org to learn more about our barn cat program!
