Cobain is a domestic shorthair that was brought into our care in June 2025. A loving neighbor brought Cobain in after his original owners packed up and left him behind. Cobain is a very shy boy and can be skittish when approached, however he is not aggressive towards people or other cats. Once he is comfortable, he blossoms into a gentle-playful, affectionate, and active fella. He is a quiet guy who would do best in a calm environment. He likes to hide in a safe space until he gets used to his new surroundings. Perhaps you can win him over with his favorite treats, Temptations! Valley Animal Center's Adoption Policy

Our standard adoption fee is $100 for cats, $120 for kittens, $100 for dogs, and $200 for puppies. The adoption fee includes spay/neuter, deworm, flea/tick treatment, and up-to-date on vaccinations. Prior to adoption, every potential adopter is required to fill out an adoption application. The online application button may be located on the right side of this page. Once an application is submitted, an animal care associate will review the application and follow up with the applicant to schedule a private meet-and-greet appointment.
