Coal 's Story
This beauty Coal as we've renamed him, arrived with his female sibling Fuzzy after being rescued from a NC feral colony, obviously not "feral". They are petit Neubelung mixes, best in another home with other cats if not together. He's a gentle fiv+ guy that's a bit shy and timid and but comes around quickly, albeit being a bit of a nibbler.

We are a "Protect the Pets" rescue with established nutritional protocols for our obligate carnivorous cats. We mandate responsible vaccination protocols and titer testing with Kansas State Veterinary Lab, in order to provide continuous protection and compliancy with the Rabies Control Act of South Carolina Rabies Statute Section 47-5-60. Please ensure your vet recognizes titers and is willing to offer affordable titer testing versus blindly overdosing pets with unnecessary vaccinations which contribute to the 50% national cancer rates being newly diagnosed annually in 10 million companion animals. The health of our pets is our main priority, and we require our nutritional and vaccination protocols be maintained. We will not allow our pets to be subjected to even a second unnecessary vaccination overdose, when checking titers can easily be incorporated into annual wellness exams for our animals.

The entire veterinary file always accompanies each of our cats upon adoption and we provide full transparency with the care we have provided.

Please contact Christine@Headbutthotel.org for our adoption paperwork.
