Coal's Story

Meet Coal: The Ultimate Wingman. If your resident kitty is looking for a wrestling partner, a nap buddy, or a partner in crime, Coal is the guy for the job.
Coal is what we call a "cat's cat." Coming from an outdoor colony, he speaks fluent Feline. He lights up when he sees other cats and is eager to make friends. While he is still learning that humans are cool too, having a confident cat sibling helps him feel brave.
He's a little shy at first meet, but he has a price: Treats. If you have a playful cat at home and a pocket full of snacks, you have everything Coal needs to blossom into the perfect indoor companion.

Mendocino Coast Humane Society's Adoption Policy
Through our Adoptions Program, we offer a variety of wonderful animals who are deserving of a loving, responsible home. Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, age appropriate vaccinations, microchip, de-worming, flea treatment, as well as heartworm, feline leukemia and FIV testing. In addition to being open Monday through Saturday, we also extend our adoption programs reach with our Mobile Pet Adoptions van, which enables us to go into our community with adoptable animals in Mendocino as well as Fort Bragg. We also feature an adoptable animal weekly on Skunk Radio and in local newspapers. We want you! MCHS is always looking for volunteers. We need people to train dogs, take them out for walks, and to hang out with the cats in our Kitty Cottage. To find out more email us at info@mendocinohumane.org or call us at 964-SPAY. Website: mendocinohumane.org We are located at 19691 Summers Lane, Fort Bragg, Ca.
