Coal's Story

Meet Coal 🖤
This big guy is tipping the scales at over 16 lbs of pure cat. Coal can be a little unsure in brand-new situations, but once he gets his bearings, he settles in just fine. He’s affectionate, enjoys being loved on, and has a very important hobby: splashing around in his water bowl like it’s his personal kiddie pool.
Coal spends much of his day out exploring, then happily heads back to his kennel when it’s time to relax and recharge. A gentle, loving home where he can feel secure (and keep his water adventures going) would be his dream come true. 🐾
If interested in adopting, please click the link below to fill out an application:
www.bellwetherharbor.org/adoptions/application-for-adoption/

Bellwether Harbor's Adoption Policy
Bellwether Harbor does not do same day adoptions. Please keep in mind multiple visits to the shelter may be required. This number is determined various factors including the potential adopter’s experience and the training level/potential behavior issues of the animal. If you are interested in adopting a dog or cat, please fill out an application on the shelter website. After the application has been received, the Adoption Coordinator will conduct a landlord check and vet check (where applicable). If approved, applicants are contacted for a phone interview, after which an appointment may be set up to meet the animal. Please note: Applying for an animal does not guarantee adoption of said animal. Adoptions are approved based on a variety of factors. We do our best to match animals with the best homes, not the first homes. It is possible that adoption of a specific animal will be denied even if the application is approved. For more information on the adoption process, please visit http://www.bellwetherharbor.org/adoptions/the-process/
