Clyde's Story

Mr. Clyde is a handsome tuxedo boy with soulful green eyes, a chunky build, and a whole lot of love to give. He can be a bit shy at first, but once he settles in, he becomes your constant companion, following you around with his happy little tail wagging.

Clyde loves window watching, treats, a good brushing, and playing with springs, but his favorite thing is being close to his person. He'll happily lounge beside you on the couch, but come bedtime, he has one request: lift the covers so he can curl up as your little spoon with his head on the pillow. He loves chin scratches, belly rubs, and kisses, though being held isn't really his thing!

He's very tolerant of other cats and kittens, but he's definitely more of a people guy. Mr. Clyde would thrive in a quiet home with someone who appreciates a calm, sweet companion. He's also a little particular about his food, but aren't we all?

If you're looking for a low-key, loving little shadow who will happily snuggle under the covers with you, Mr. Clyde might just be your guy. Clyde was boy November 2021.

If you live in Chicago and are interested in learning more about Clyde, please contact Toni McNaughton at tonimcn@rcn.com and Lisa Ward at catladychicago@yahoo.com. Please tell us a bit about your situation, what you are looking for, the composition of your current household (the other humans and/or pets who already live there). Inquires with these questions answered are responded to promptly.

We are always in need of foster homes. If you are not able to adopt, but are interested in fostering or know someone who might be, we would love to hear from you!
