Clover's Story

Clover is a senior girl who is looking for a warm place to cuddle up for the rest of her kitty life. She's friendly and loving. She is very confused on why she's in the shelter and really could use a hero. She weighs about 10 pounds, and would do best in a quiet, low stress, non-chaotic household. She wouldn't do well with small children and probably even dogs. She may be ok with another cat, but we have not tested her with any here. Given her age, and the level of stress she's already having, we do not want to scare her anymore. She would be perfect for an older person who just needs someone to cuddle with and companionship. Ogemaw County Humane Society's Adoption Policy
-Cats are same day adoptions. -Dogs are NOT same day adoptions. -We require home visits with the dogs. This means you take the dog home for about a week to ensure that dog is a good fit for your life. Adoptions can be finalized after the home visit is complete. We understand some people are not local, and we can work around that to accommodate the needs of all parties involved. -Meet and greets are required for any dog adoptions where there is already a dog in the home. -CAT ADOPTIONS REQUIRE CARRIERS TO LEAVE THE BUILDING! -DOG ADOPTIONS REQUIRE A LEASH TO LEAVE THE BUILDING!
