Clover's Story

Clover is a gentle, shy girl who takes her time when it comes to new people and new surroundings. She spends much of her day tucked into her blankets, where she feels safest. When approached slowly and given the chance to get comfortable, though, she's happy to accept some gentle head pets.

Clover may not be ready to come out of hiding right away, but she has already shown that she enjoys attention. As she became more comfortable, she started leaning into hands for pets and seemed to enjoy being scratched in most places. Even while staying cozy in her blankets, she remained interested in getting more attention, which is a sweet sign of the affectionate companion she could become once she feels secure.

Clover has coexisted well with Ginko and could be adopted together with her or separately. She has no known history with dogs. She does well with older children and would likely be happiest in a calm home with older, respectful kids who can give her the time and space she needs.

Clover may need some patience as she settles in, but for the person willing to meet her at her own pace, she has plenty of sweetness to share.
