Clover's Story

Stunning Clover came to us from a hoarding case where around 40 cats were taken from the home. Even coming from such a difficult situation, Clover is a sweet boy who has quickly learned to enjoy affection - and is now looking for his forever home!

Clover is about 3 years old, and although he can be a little shy at first, he has come a long way from when he first came to us. Now, he enjoys to be pet, especially on the head, and is trusting people more and more each day. We can only imagine what he and his friends went through in the previous home, but he's showing us just how adaptable he can be. He really loves being with his friends, and seems especially close with his friend Azalea. Clover would love to go home with another cat who can continue to help him grow and thrive in your home! But at the end of the day, all he really needs is love.

Clover hasn't been around kids or dogs; everything is new for him, but we think if you give him patience, he can acclimate to most homes. He has FIV, which we can tell you more about when you meet him, but it essentially means his immune system isn't the best, which is why it's so important for him to get out of the shelter and into a home! To meet this sweet boy, fill out an adoption questionnaire at www.fatherjohns.org/adopt. You'll get an email to reply to in order to make an appointment. Appointments are required Weds/Fri. Walk ins are accepted with appointments preferred every other day.

Father John's Animal House's Adoption Policy
The first step in our adoption process is to fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website. We ask that all potential adopters do this so that we may find the perfect match that will benefit both human and pet. From there, the fastest way to set an appointment is to reply to the automated email you'll receive shortly after submitting your questionnaire. We prioritize pre-scheduled appointments but are happy to assist walk-ins between the hours of 11:00 - 3:30. If you already have a dog and are looking to adopt another, we will set up a dog intro to make sure the two pups get along. Check out our website to see our adoption fees - they vary based on the age of the animal. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccines, microchipped and seen by our veterinarians prior to adoption.
