Clover's Story

Clover is a cat with a story. He first came to our after a kind caretaker messaged us to see if we could help with a cat with an injury. While not technically an injury he did need help as his rectum was prolapsed.

This was the the beginning of a very interesting medical journey for Clover. For the first several months he was with our rescue, his rectum would prolapse not infrequently and had to be placed back in by a vet several times. About the third time he had a more advanced procedure to prevent it from prolapsing, but it happened again. Then we learned he was somewhat magical and could put his rectum back in on his own. We have no idea how, but he does!

After being on a prescription diet for several months and in a foster home his rectum seem to stop prolapsing. Then one day it did again, but the next day it was back in. And that is Clover. He has a rectum that prolapses but it goes back in on its own. But we don't want his medical condition to solely define who he is.

Clover is an incredibly affectionate and people-oriented cat. He's a bit shy around new people, but once he feels safe, he becomes a total lovebug — curling up on laps, soaking up attention, and purring endlessly. His happiest moments are when he’s being loved on. Occasionally, Clover has days when his stomach bothers him, and during those times, he prefers to hide. He gets along with other cats and forms quick, easy bonds with them. He also gets along with calm cat friendly dogs. He really is a great cat!

Clover 2-3 years old, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and is microchipped. He is on a prescription food diet called Hills Biome.

If nterested in meeting Clover please complete an adoption application at the following link:
https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfliBTV4y98tz4gLNxVSqg1Y5ZruQTg-0cBUEct_590GfnW9Q/viewform?fbclid=IwAR221hYUXC77udO5ozIVPBGndga6_hvgx3VaPtzcoo
