Clover's Story

We first learned about Clover when we were told there was a stray cat living outside whose rectum had fallen out — proof that real life can be stranger than fiction. We trapped him right away and got him the medical attention he desperately needed. Since then, it’s been a long and unpredictable journey filled with twists we never could have imagined.

Clover is an incredibly affectionate and people-oriented cat. Once he feels safe, he becomes a total lovebug — curling up on laps, soaking up attention, and purring endlessly. His happiest moments are when he’s being loved. Occasionally, Clover has days when his stomach bothers him, and during those times, he prefers to hide. He gets along with other cats and forms quick, easy bonds with them.

Medical background: When Clover was first rescued, his rectum would prolapse two to three times a week — something he somehow managed to fix on his own.(!!!) How he does it is a mystery. On days when his stomach is upset, he sometimes experiences soft stool for a short period, but then returns to normal. A biopsy of his stomach was performed, but the results were inconclusive. He is currently on Biome prescription food. He is fully vetted, fixed and about two years old.

Adoption application - https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1zutAAXKUxzuGS1__rLtk3QirVzWaXCsvjSUl7dTYs_Y/edit
