Clove is the adventurous explorer. Curious and fearless, he once discovered his way to the very top of the kitchen cabinets. He’s extremely playful and loves interactive fun, but he also enjoys quiet moments sitting beside his human on the couch or in bed. He’s a gentle kitten who has never scratched or bitten, but he doesn’t yet enjoy being picked up. For that reason, he would do best in a home with older children who can respect his need for some understanding and patience. Since his playmate/sister was recently adopted, we’d like to see Clove go to a home where someone is around most of the time to provide companionship and enrichment, or perhaps a home with a friendly, like-aged kitten looking for a companion. If you’re looking for playful, affectionate kittens with a big personality and even bigger heart, Clove is ready to brighten your home. You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt from us. We accept online/electronic credit or debit card pre-payments for adoptions (no cash). NOTE: Please do not ask us to HOLD a cat/kitten for you. Our space is very limited as we don't have a facility. Laurel Cats does not have a shelter or storefront. Our kittens and cats are placed in the homes of loving volunteer fosters until they are adopted. This means our cats are accustomed to being handled and loved. Please ask questions if you're interested in any of our cats

Laurel Cats's Adoption Policy

Since Laurel Cats is primarily a spay and neuter group rather than a rescue with a shelter, the cats that we have for adoption are living at the homes of our volunteers. Please contact us and we will gladly put you in touch with the volunteers caring for these cats. Finding volunteer foster space is challenging, and once a cat or kitten is ready for adoption we are naturally keen to free up the space in order to help more cats and kittens in need. We therefore ask that you only apply to adopt one of our cats or kittens if you are in a position to take them immediately, subject to a home check.
