Cloud's Story

Meet Cloud!
Cloud is the poster cat for being friendly, he will run up to anyone and everyone purring and talking for pets, and will follow you around purring as loud as possible hoping for some attention. He loves little head scratches and kisses, and pretty much any other affection youll give him. He makes excellent biscuits too!

Cloud is around 3-5 yrs old but is very fit and athletic, he runs and jumps like a kitten! Hes past the crazy hyper stage, so hes a great balance of playful without needing to be constantly run around. He is very friendly with other cats, and would likely prefer another cat in the home but could also be ok as an only cat as long as he has a person to hang out with a lot.

Cloud has a mild case of pillow foot, which causes swelling in the foot pads. Cases that are caught early like his are usually well-managed with doxycycline or steroids whenever a flare-up happens, but those should be rare or may never happen at all. Some diets and softer litters may be recommended, but it isnt a life-threatening disease and usually isnt particularly difficult or expensive to manage. Very severe cases may require a minor surgery to remove the swollen tissues, but that is unlikely in his case with it being mild and caught early. Many cases occur with FIV, but our sweet Cloud tested negative for both FIV and FeLV, so he seems to be very healthy otherwise!

All cats and kittens adopted through Friends of Felines are spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on FVRCP vaccinations and rabies shots (if old enough).

See our adoption process below:

1) Fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofelines.org/adopt
2) Meet with the cat in their foster home
3) If you and the cat are a match then we will set a take home date 1-7 days after the meeting depending on schedules.
