Clive's Story

Clives journey has been a quiet, steady climb. While his littermates were quick to leap into the spotlight, Clive took a little more time to find his footing. He has been in foster care for a while, patiently learning that the world is a safe place—and the wait has been entirely worth it. Watching Clive bloom into the affectionate, playful, and sweet boy he is today has been nothing short of magical.

Clive is a gentle soul who takes a "listen and observe" approach to new people. He won't rush to greet you at the door on day one, but once you earn his trust, a whole new cat emerges. Behind his initial hesitation lies a deeply loving companion who is eager to connect, play, and share quiet, cozy moments with his human.

What Makes Clive Special

A Heart of Gold: Once he knows youre his person, Clives sweet and affectionate side shines through. Earning his trust is one of the most rewarding feelings in the world.

Playful & Bright: Once he feels safe, his playful kitten spirit comes out! He loves interactive toys, exploring his space, and showing off his charming personality.

Needs a Feline Mentor: Clive must have a confident cat friend in his forever home. Having a brave feline buddy around gives him the reassurance he needs, helps him navigate new situations, and inspires him to keep growing into his boldest self.

Clive is looking for a patient, understanding adopter who realizes that the best things in life take a little time. If you have a welcoming home, a friendly cat looking for a partner in crime, and a heart big enough to let Clive blossom at his own pace, he is ready to fill your life with quiet devotion.

Clive is neutered, age appropriate shots and microchipped.

If you are interested in adopting please apply here: https://chcrrescue.ca/adoption-application/

Adoption Fee: $ 150

Cambridge Homeless Cat Rescue's Adoption Policy
Potential adopters are required to complete an online application. Once complete, we contact their vet clinic for a reference. Once this is complete and during transfer, the adopters sign a paper contract outlining both ours and their responsibilities post adoption. We ask that cats not be permitted outdoors, no declawing and we ask that for any reason they cannot keep the cat, it is returned to us and not rehomed by them. We offer post-adoption counselling to help address any issues that may arise following adoption.

Our Mission
Currently, there are estimated to be 140,000 homeless cats in Waterloo Region. Our goal is to reduce this number to zero by rehoming social cats and providing spay/neutering of cats being returned to the streets (TNR) thereby controlling the cat population.
