Clive's Story

About the Brothers - 6 months old

Clive, Cliff, Clay, and Clarke were rescued from a large outdoor colony and have come a long way in their journey to trust humans. Each of these boys has a unique personality, but what unites them is their playful energy, strong bond, and capacity for love. Once they settle in, they turn into affectionate, goofy lap cats who love to run, chase toys, and explore. They’ve learned that humans bring safety, warmth, and full food bowls—and they’re ready to bring joy to their forever homes in return.

About Clive – The Gentle Soul

Clive is a stunning black-and-brown tabby with the most mesmerizing slanted eyes that seem to hold a story. He’s the quiet observer of the group—the one who takes a little longer to trust but rewards your patience tenfold. Once he decides you’re safe, you’ll see a whole new side of him: soft purrs, slow blinks, and quiet moments of affection that melt your heart.

Clive is deeply food-motivated (especially when wet food or treats are involved), which makes earning his trust that much easier. Cambridge Homeless Cat Rescue's Adoption Policy
Potential adopters are required to complete an online application. Once complete, we contact their vet clinic for a reference. Once this is complete and during transfer, the adopters sign a paper contract outlining both ours and their responsibilities post adoption. We ask that cats not be permitted outdoors, no declawing and we ask that for any reason they cannot keep the cat, it is returned to us and not rehomed by them. We offer post-adoption counselling to help address any issues that may arise following adoption.

Our Mission
