Clifford's Story

Clifford is a one-of-a-kind sweetheart who’s been through a lot, but still greets every day with a purr and a playful spirit. He was surrendered due to GI issues, but with the proper diet (which he's thriving on!), he’s healthy, happy, and ready to love again. He’s got a perfectly imperfect cleft lip that only adds to his charm — and a personality that wins over everyone he meets. Clifford LOVES to explore, make new friends, and play like a kitten at heart. At 6 years old, he’s the perfect mix of mellow and playful. While he is adjusting greatly at the shelter, we know this sweet boy would do best in his own home! He gets along very well with other cats and children; however, we are unsure about how he'll do with dogs. With his charming and laid-back demeanor, we don't envision it being a problem! Best of all -we’re waiving all adoption fees before Halloween! Help us get our cats into loving homes before the spooky season ends! Clifford’s adoption fee? $0 — just bring the love.

Simba's Sanctuary's Adoption Policy

Potential adopters may visit our website to complete our adoption application, which our team will review. Their application is either denied or accepted. We then ask to complete a home visit and have the potential adopter and family come to meet the cat to ensure they are a good fit. Once the paperwork is completed, the cat can go home with its forever family. Simba's Sanctuary elects to contact the family after the adoption to check on how the cat is adjusting.
