Cliff's Story
Cliff is a 1-year-old male domestic shorthair with a soft heart and a sensitive soul.

He was found during severe weather along with two other cats and brought to the shelter for safety. When he first arrived, he wasn’t feeling well and everything felt overwhelming. Now that he’s healthy, his true nature is starting to show — and underneath that shy exterior is a gentle, tender boy.

Cliff is quiet and observant. He takes his time learning to trust, but once he feels safe, he melts into calm companionship. He isn’t the bold, outgoing type — he’s the kind who forms deeper bonds with patient people who let him move at his own pace.

Cliff needs a home that understands that confidence doesn’t always come immediately. With consistency, kindness, and routine, he will continue to blossom.

While we believe Cliff would do best in a quieter home environment, he could also be considered for a safe barn or shop setting with proper shelter and dedicated care, if that better fits an adopter’s space. What matters most is that he has stability and someone committed to giving him the time he deserves.

Cliff is fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and preventatives, and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV.

Apply to adopt here:
https://orangecountyva.gov/159/Pet-Adoption-Foster-Care-Information
