Cliff's Story

Looking for a lover? Look no further. This chonky 12lb snuggle bug is your guy. He was trapped by a volunteer for Berks Community Cats in Reading, PA with a bunch of strays, but turns out, he prefers a home setting with people to love.

Cliff, named after the lovable character on the TV series Cheers, is just as friendly and popular. Visitors are greeted with a soft meow, then enjoy a full on conversation. He is learning how to play and loves anything he can chase: strings, wand toys, sticks. Cliffy is pure love.

Cliff was caught in November 2024, was neutered and received surgery for a hernia 11/25/24, as well as his vaccines and topical pest prevention. He is healthy, -/-, and ready for his forever home.

He is currently with a tabby roommate from the same colony, Carla, and shows no fear of the overly friendly dog in the foster’s home in Doylestown, PA. He has not been tested with children, but shows no aggression. He has learned to love being held and snuggled. Cliff is easy to fall head over heels in love with.

Out of state adoptions are fine, and all potential homes will require a home check and vet check, standard and mandatory. He is indoor only now, unless you have a secure catio or safe, enclosed space, to prevent Cliff from wandering or being confronted by wildlife or strays. He would need time to become familiar with his home, but that wont take long at all.
