Cleo's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Cleopatra (Cleo)
Cleo is my favorite (but don't tell Chip) due to her incredible bravery and calmness. Cleo doesn't get startled by a damn thing—she will be the first to come out when a friend or newcomer enters the apartment. Cleo is very much a lone soldier until you are putting on your shoes to leave, and then she finds you and gives you so much attention with her cute snout and tiny meows. She is not the kind of cat that will sit on your lap, but she will always be near you. She will sit on the ground near you, lay on the couch above you, or sleep at the edge of the bed in her spot, but she likes to keep her distance. She goes crazy for chin scratches. This is so apparent that if you are giving her belly scratches and she's making biscuits with her paws, and then you get to her chin, she will just freeze in that moment until you stop. From the previous adopter:
Bro & Sis
I adopted Chip & Cleo with my girlfriend at the time and knew what I was getting into. I was super excited to have these lovely kittens in my home. The energy these two bring is incredible, and the amount of socialization they have has made them a joy. They are very curious, friendly, and like to be around people—near everyone when at my home during their waking hours. They have always lived inside but are curious enough that they will step outside a little and smell around, but when it's time to go inside, they'll scurry back up the stairs. They love to lay in the sun on the windowsill or on the carpet where the sun is, nestle into the couch corner, or perch somewhere and take a nap. On a regular feeding schedule, they never binge eat or cry for food, and better yet, they rarely have accidents from either end. Their diet has been pretty consistent with a mix of dry and wet food, typically from TikiCat and dry food from Science Diet / Authority, with a charcoal filter water fountain. I was always warned about cats destroying furniture, but I have a nice cloth couch that they leave alone, and they have not destroyed anything! There are sufficient scratch pads (3) for them around the home, and they know where to let their scratches out.
I will absolutely miss them as they are bonded and sweet, but with my worsening allergies, increasingly demanding work, and lack of anyone to assist, I am afraid adoption is the only option to explore. They deserve to remain together and with someone who has another friendly animal for them to engage with, kids, or a larger space for them to enjoy. They are litter box trained using 'World's Best Cat Litter 'Multiple Cats.'' Along with all the information above, I will be providing the litter box, two sets of feeding dishes, a short cat tree, toys, and any food/litter I have at the time of adoption. These are awesome, friendly, and playful cats that I wish I could keep, but I cannot. Please complete an application and a volunteer will contact you.
