Cleo's Story

Meet Cleo & Nala – Two Resilient Sisters Ready for Their Forever Home!

Cleo (tortie) and Nala (dilute calico) are two beautiful sisters whose journey hasn’t been the easiest — but their story is one of resilience, love, and second chances.

Separated at just six weeks old, each kitten ended up in a different shelter. Sadly, due to ringworm, both girls faced uncertain fates: Cleo was placed on a final euthanasia list, and Nala was returned to us as a TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) because she was deemed “unfriendly.” But as anyone who works with cats knows, shelter environments can be overwhelming, and many cats just need time and kindness to truly shine.

Fortunately, their paths led back to us — and back to each other. After several weeks of treatment and healing, we’re thrilled to say that both Cleo and Nala are now completely ringworm-free, thriving in foster care, and ready for loving homes!

About Cleo (Tortie)

Cleo is bold, curious, and full of personality. She’s an extroverted little adventurer who loves to chat with her humans and follow you around. Whether it’s a play session with wand toys or curling up for snuggles on your lap, Cleo is happiest when she’s involved. She's incredibly social and enjoys the company of both people and other cats.

About Nala (Dilute Calico)

Nala is the quieter of the two, with a gentle, sweet spirit. She absolutely loves belly rubs, treats, and long, cozy naps. Once she trusts you, she becomes a playful, affectionate companion — especially when it comes to playing with her sister Cleo or chasing teaser toys.

A Few Things to Know:

Because of their ringworm treatment, the girls were in isolation for over six weeks and have only had regular contact with their foster — so they may be a bit shy with new faces at first. With a little patience and love, they’ll warm up beautifully.

Ideal Home:

We would love for Cleo and Nala to be adopted together — their bond is strong, and they truly thrive in each other’s company. However, we’re open to adopting them separately if you already have a young, friendly cat or kitten to keep them company and help them feel secure.

Details:

Age: ~3.5 months
Sex: Female (both)
Spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped
Dewormed & treated for fleas
Adoption application and rehoming fee required

Let us know if you’d like to meet these special sisters. Cleo and Nala have already overcome so much; all they need now is a home where they can continue to blossom. ?
