Cleo's Story

Hi, I'm the beautiful Cleo! I'm a sweet older lady who just wants a quiet place with someone to love me. I'm a shy girl but so affectionate and lovey when I feel safe. I had some mats that were shaved off recently so I have a stylish lion cut. I'm remarkably healthy for my age and my bloodwork looked great. I had a dental with 12 teeth removed this year.

My foster says: "Cleo loves a good booty scritch, a gentle chin scratch, seafood, good pets, looking out a window, and a good hiding spot! She is not a fan of loud noises, sudden movements, or having her face touched on both sides at the same time (I think she feels trapped). She's a sweet, gentle girl who is full of purrs and really wants to be loved on- she just needs more time to get comfy."

I've had some tragedies in my life. I first came into Animal Aid when I was just a year old. I had a bonded brother and we were both very shy cats. We were adopted and returned a few months later due to a medical condition of the adopter. We were adopted by a couple after that and after 6 years came back to the shelter when one of the people passed away and the other person could not care for us. We were then adopted a few months later by a kind gentleman. My brother passed in 2022. Then my person passed away this year and I'm back at Animal Aid looking for a loving home for my golden years.

I'm in a foster home so if you would like to meet me please fill out an adoption application at www.animalaidpdx.org.

My estimated birthdate is 8/1/2012.
