Clayton's Story

Hey ginger fans, do we have a friend for you! We often get adopters looking for that outgoing, super friendly "life of the party" orange cat swagger and Clayton is here to serve!

Despite a rough (physical) start before coming to Salty Paws (from our rescue friends Renegade Paws - great teamwork!) this little dude is ready for his rightful furever family and life of cat-venture. Is that with you?

So far, there doesn't seem to be anyone or anything he doesn't get along with. He has struck up a friendship with his little kitten pal Jackson (also adoptable) just because they ended up together and he was fine with that. So we think he'd do great in just about any feline-centric, loving, indoor home, with an existing cat or as your one-and-only. Clayton is estimated at 2 years old by the vet, but if so, he's a small guy (weighs about 7.5 lbs.), so it is possible he is younger than that and may grow a bit yet.

Despite a rough start in life, he is coming along beautifully with great food, current vet care and tons of love. He will mature into a stunningly handsome cat with a thick, long, gorgeous coat!

Ready to adopt this diamond in the ruff? Kindly fill out our required, easy, online application, which can be found here:

https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SPLC/Cat

For the safety of our animals, home checks are a requirement of adoption, but we make it as unobtrusive and convenient as possible.

Thank you for considering a rescue cat!
