Clause's Story

Clause was adopted from the SPCA. His owner was told then, in 2023, that he was 3years old. That would make him 5 years old now. However, after speaking to the owner that did not want him back, we both agreed that Clause looked much older than 5.<br/>We rescued Clause in Overbrook where a kind feeder had been caring for him and others. Clause is so sweet and lovable, though it’s evident he has been through the mill!<br/>We are currently working on getting him an appointment to see a vet. We want him to be checked out for any possible illnesses and get updated vaccines and testing. We hope someone will adopt him and give him a better life. We are estimating his age to be closer to 9, however, we really have no idea.

Lauren's Lost Cats's Adoption Policy

Our adoption process begins with the potential adopter reaching out to us about their desire to adopt a cat or kitten. They are provided an adoption application, email and phone number in case they have questions or concerns. Once the application is in, Lauren ‘s Lost Cats volunteers check potential adopters place of residence, Landlord (that they allow pets) Vetrinary reference, personal references, Do Not Adopt Lists and social media to provide rescue with a snap shot of the adopters ability to care for, afford, and love the animal they adopt. In our application is a description of our desire to stay in contact with and assist adopter in the future.
