Claudio (with Meowlody)'s Story
DOB 5/5/25
Claudio's story is a true glow-up. As a kitten, he was so independent that he was ear-tipped for life in a barn home. But Claudio had other plans! Discovering he loved the indoor life, he has blossomed into the friendliest, most expressive guy in the house. While he still sports his "cool guy" tipped ear to prove his street cred, he is a total softie at heart.

Having grown up around many other cats, Claudio is incredibly patient and submissive, with a gentle, persistent approach to making friends and gets along well with almost everyone.

Claudio is always down for scratches and pets, though he prefers to meet you on his level (four paws on the ground!). Nevertheless, when he is sleepy, he forgets he's a tough guy. If you scoop him up while he is drowsy, he will stretch out into a purring noodle, and clearly enjoys the snuggle. Once he feels safe, he is the most rewarding, chatty companion you could ask for.

Claudio is a package deal with his brother, Meowlody. Because he has his brother for company, he is a great fit for adopters who work, as the boys keep each other entertained all day.

PLEASE READ

Adoption Fees:
$100 for adults (12+ months)
$150 for kittens (under 12 months)

All cats adopted through Silverton Cat Rescue come spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and have received age-appropriate vaccines.

We are not first-come, first-served. Please be patient as we coordinate with fosters to arrange meet-and-greets.

Why Most of Our Kittens Are Adopted in Pairs

Kittens are highly social and thrive when they have a feline companion. A buddy helps them develop healthy play habits, confidence, and emotional well-being. Experts recommend adopting two kittens together, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat at home.

Surprisingly, two kittens are often half the work of onethey keep each other entertained, comforted, and well-socialized.

Adoption Requirements

To ensure safe and compatible placements, we require:
A completed adoption application
A home visit

Apply here:
https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/SIL/Cat

Email: silvertonrescue@gmail.com or email us at silvertonrescue@gmail.com for more information.
