Once he discovered the comforts of indoor living, he blossomed into the friendliest, most expressive guy in the house. He still proudly sports his “cool guy” tipped ear as proof of his street cred, but underneath that tough-guy look is a total softie.<br/><br/>Having grown up around lots of other cats, Claudio is incredibly patient, gentle, and submissive. He has a sweet, persistent way of making friends and gets along well with almost everyone he meets.<br/><br/>Claudio is always happy to receive scratches and pets, although he prefers to greet you with all four paws safely on the ground! But when he’s sleepy, his tough-guy persona disappears. Scoop him up while he’s drowsy, and he’ll stretch into a purring noodle, happily enjoying the snuggles. Once he feels safe and comfortable, Claudio becomes the most rewarding, affectionate, and chatty companion you could ask for.<br/><br/>Claudio is a package deal with his brother, Meowlody, and the two must be adopted together. Having each other for companionship makes them a wonderful pair for adopters who work during the day—the boys can keep each other entertained while you’re away and will be ready to enjoy time with you when you get home.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for two handsome brothers with personality, charm, and plenty of love to give, Claudio and Meowlody may be the perfect pair for you!<br/>PLEASE READ<br/><br/>Adoption Fees:<br/> $100 for adults (12+ months)<br/> $150 for kittens (under 12 months)<br/><br/>All cats adopted through Silverton Cat Rescue come spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and have received age-appropriate vaccines.<br/><br/>We are not first-come, first-served. Our goal is to match each kitty with the purrfect home.<br/><br/>Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, run entirely by volunteers. All cats live in foster homes. Please be patient as we coordinate with fosters to arrange meet-and-greets.<br/><br/>Why Most of Our Kittens Are Adopted in Pairs<br/><br/>Kittens are highly social and thrive when they have a feline companion. A buddy helps them develop healthy play habits, confidence, and emotional well-being.
